SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi in association with RGUHS, Bengaluru conducted Mysore Zonal Table Tennis Tournament on 29/07/2022 at Bhavaprakasha Auditorium.

Tournament was inaugurated by Dr. Roshan Kumar Shetty, Assistant Director, Dept. of Youth Empowerment and Sports spoke about importance of sports in maintenance of health in present post covid era. President of the event Dr. Mamatha KV, Principal, SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi spoke about contributions of Yoga and sports for maintaining diseases free body. Dr. Suresh, Physical Director, Mandya Institute of Medical Science, Mandya. Dr. Nagaraj S, Medical Superintendent, SDM Ayurveda Hospital, Udupi, Dr. Niranjan Rao, Dean, PG & Ph.D. Studies, SDMCA, Udupi Dr. Veera Kumara K, Dean, Student Welfare, SDMCA, Udupi Dr. Prathviraj Puranik, Co-ordinator, Sports Committee, Udupi were present on the dias.

Valedictory program commenced at 4.00 PM Dr. Mamatha K.V., Principal, SDMCA, Udupi presented prizes to the winners.

Men Section:
Winners – SIMS Medical College, Shimoga
Runners – Mysore Medical College, Mysore

Women Section:
Winners  – KVG Dental College, Sullia
Runners – SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi

Vote of thanks were presented by Dr. Sandesh Kumar Shetty, Associate Professor, Dept. of Swasthavritta. Invocation was done by Ms. Ayudha and Manasa. The program was compared by Ms. Lavanya Poojary, 4th BAMS student.
