Celebration is 74th republic day had been done exuberantly done at Shri Dharmashala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda, Udupi. As the chief guest, retired Professor and H.O.D. of Shreera Rachana, Dr. V. K. Shreedhar Holla graced the occasion with his presence and hoisting the national flag. He addressed the gathering focusing on the necessity of a clean and healthy society for the development of the nation. He said that the responsibility of developing and leading a healthy society is on us, and it is necessary for everyone to follow it adequately. The program was chaired by the principal of the college, Dr. Mamata K who, addressing the gathering, said that it is our responsibility to save the republic and to fulfill it, everyone should follow the right path. She said that today , the greatness of India has spread to the world and the responsibility of continuing it is on the students to maintain and take forward the same. Final year students Mohan Kumar delivered the welcome speech, Pooja M. Naik delivered the vote of thanks, and Inchara S. G. was the master of ceremony. On the same occasion, patriotic songs were sung by the college students.
