Shri Dharmathala Manjunatheshwara college of Ayurveda and Hospital, Udupi had organized University level one day workshop sponsored by RGUHS, Bengaluru on “Updated IEC guidelines” for the member secretaries of Ayurveda P.G institutions affiliated under Rajiv Gandhi university of Health sciences, Bengaluru on 11/02/2023.
Total 40 delegates from various Ayurveda PG institutions affiliated under RGUHS, Bengaluru, and Members of institution’s IEC attended the workshop.
The formal inaugural programme was presided over by the principal, Dr Mamatha K.V with the chief guest Dr Rajesh Krishna Bhandary, Associate professor in Department of Physciatry from Kasturba medical college Manipal, Dr Ravi Rao Sorake, Chairman of institution’s IEC and Dr Padmakiran C, member secretary of IEC were on the stage. Dr Arhanth, Associate professor, PG department of samhita and siddanata has hosted the event.
Sessions: Resource persons Dr Veena Kamth, Professor in Department of community medicine delivered talk on Ethical committee and its proceedings and Dr Rajesh Krishna Bhandary, Associate professor in Department of Physciatry from Kasturba medical college, Manipal delivered 2 sessions on Updated IEC guidelines – Part I & II. Mr Naveenchandra, senior research officer of SDM center for research in Ayurveda and allied sciences, Udupi delivered a talk on Guidelines to ASU ethics committee and making it more productive (Pogramme schedule attached).
Attendance: Signature was taken in attendance sheet from all the delegates for both morning and afternoon sessions
Feedback: The effectiveness of the sessions was assessed based on pre test and post test in every session.
Formal feedback and certificate distribution was at 4.25 PM. Participation certificate to the delegates were distributed by Dr Ravi Rao Sorake, Chairman of college IEC.
