Inaugural ceremony of Shalakya Tantra new Eye-ENT Speciality and surgery unit at Rathanshree Arogyadhama was held on 29-07-2022. Unveiling of ribbon ceremony and followed by stage program was conducted. Sri Rajesh Mudhol, Senior Divisional Manager, LIC of India, Udupi Division, Sri N. Ramesh Bhat, Marketing Manager, LIC of India, Udupi Division, Sri R.M. Samuga, Manager Clients, LIC of India, Udupi Division, Sri Sadashiva Bhat, Manager Sales, LIC of India, Udupi Division, Sri Mohan Das, Retd. Asst. Divisional Manager, LIC of India, Udupi Division, Dr. Roopashree Rao, MBBS, MS, Srihari Nethralaya, Ambalpady, Udupi, Dr. Hariprasad Vokuda, MBBS, MS, Srihari Nethralaya, Ambalpady, Udupi were chief guests of the program. Major contribution to this setup is from LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation who has funded for the purchase of diagnostic equipments in this unit. Management has sponsored fund for the purchase of Microscope in this unit. The new Shalakyatantra eye unit comprises of a full-fledged ophthalmology clinic with modern diagnostic equipments and an OT for eye surgeries with main focus on cataract surgery.
