On 06/01/2024 Saturday, Afternoon at PG Seminar Hall SDMCA Udupi. Program was Inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mrs.Vijaya Hegde, Senior Environment Zonal officer Mangalore.

Dr.Mamatha K.V Principal of the College Presided over the event and stage witnessed the presence of dignitaries like Mr.J.Chandra Regional Director of Envirotech Bangalore, Dr.K.M Raju Chief Officer K.S.P.CB Udupi, Dr.Sandeep Sanil Secretary AFI Udupi, Sri Maruti Hegde from Ayush Envirotech, Dr.Prasanna Mogasale Chairmen of HIC committee SDM Ayurveda Hospital Udupi.

Program was witnessed by HODs & Teaching Staffs of various departments, PG Students of Campus , Staffs from Various Sectors of Health Departments , College & Hospital Manager, Team of Nurses, Ayush Practitioners from Different Parts of District, GDW workers etc.Dr.Prasanna Mogasale Delivered the Welcome address. Following the Formalities, Mr. J. C. Chandra, Regional Director, Envirotech Bangalore, presented a guest lecture on ” Awareness on Bio Medical Waste Management and Handling Rules – 2016″… focusing on the proper disposal and management of biomedical waste, rules, and regulations, components of biomedical waste management, and the responsibilities of medical professionals and staff.

The event concluded with a Presidential Address from Dr. Mamatha K.V., Principal of SDM Ayurveda College Udupi… Dr. Sadanand Bhat Kapu expressed gratitude for the successful execution of the program. Dr. Shreyashree Suvarna supervised the organization and assistance was provided by Hospital Intern Pratibha and Asira.
