Free Medical Checkup and Awareness Mega Camp – Arogya Mela – 2019

Free Medical Checkup and Awareness Mega Camp – Arogya Mela – 2019 is being conducted by Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Ayurveda College and Hospital, Kuthpady, Udupi in association with Syndicate Bank, Zonal Office, Manipal. The Inauguration program was held on 24/06/2019 at Bhavaprakasha Auditorium of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Ayurveda college. The program was inaugurated by Sri Raghupathi Bhat, MLA, Udupi and in his speech he said that such camps shall be benefitting to the poor people. Ayurveda is now global and its principles will be helping the participants and their family to maximum extent to maintain health. He appreciated the steps taken by the Sri Dharmastala Ayurveda hospital under the guidance of Dr D. Veertendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari,Shri kshetra Dharmastala.

 Prof. B. Yashovarma, Secretary, SDM Educational Society ®, Ujire presided the function. Dr. Mamatha K.V., Medical Superintendent, SDM Ayurveda Hospital Udupi gave away the keynote address and welcome the gathering. Sri Bhaskar Hande, Divisional Manager, Zonal Office, Syndicate Bank, Manipal, Sri Mahaveera Ajri, Regional Director, Shri Kethra Dharmasthala Rural Development (SKDRDP) were the guests. Dr. G. Shrinivasa Acharya, Principal, SDM College of Ayurveda was present with the guests.

Dr. Nagaraj S., Associate Dean, PG & Ph.D. Studies, SDM Ayurveda College gave away the Vote of thanks. Dr. Ravindra Angady, Professor & HOD, Dept. of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana was the Master of ceremony. Dr. Vaishnavi and Dr. Sharanya, Internees rendered the prayer. Sri Ganesh, District Director, SKDRDP, Udupi District, Sri Rohith, Program Officer, SKDRDP, Udupi Taluk, Sri Dinesh, Program Officer, SKDRDP, Brahmavara Taluk, Sri Devadas Hebbar, Former President, District Janajagruthi Vedike were present during the program.
