76^th Independence Day was celebrated in the institution on 15/08/2022. Colonel Thammayya Udupa, Rtd Colonel, Manipal was the chief guest, who unfurled the tri colour national flag and opined that following the rules made by the administration is the real service to the nation. Dr. Vidyalakshmi K. NSS PO welcomed the gathering. Dr. Mamatha K V, Principal of the college, Dr. Nagaraj S, Medical Superintendent, SDMAHU, Dr. Niranjan Rao, Dean, PG PhD studies, Dr. Veerakumara K, Deans, UG studies were present on this occasion. As a part of Amrutha Mahotsava of Independence Day Celebration, 75 students have sung patriotic song.
