PARENT TEACHER MEETING
Parent- teacher meeting of 4th year BAMS for the academic year 2022-23 was conducted in SDM Ayurveda College and hospital, Udupi on 25.03.2023. An open interaction was arranged for the parents and teachers from 9am to 9.45. At 10am Official Program started with invocation by the students of 4th year BAMS Ms.Sudesha Bista and Ms. Nagaratna.Dignitories on the dias were Dr. Mamata KV, Principal, SDMCAU, Dr. Nagaraj.S , Medical Superindent,SDMAHU, Dr. Veerakumara K, Dean Student welfare, SDMCAU, Dr. Raveendra Angady, Associate dean student welfare, SDMCAU, Dr. Dhaneswari HA, Class advisor, 4th BAMS
Welcome address was given by Dr. Dhaneswari HA. Updates regarding various curricular and cocurricular activities of students were announced briefly by Dr. Veerakumara K. Updates on examination aspects were done by Dr. Manjunath Khanti, Dr. Sahana Sankari announced the cultural activites of the students,and sports updates was given by Dr. Prathwiraj puranik.
Dr. Nagaraj S addressed the gathering where he explained regarding the internship period of students. Dr. Mamata KV in her presidential address mentioned the behavior and descipline of the final year students. She mentioned regarding the demolishing of old College building and the construction of new one. She specified the importance of Connection of Student-teacher-Parent and insisted parents to be in touch with student mentor and emphasized about the vigilance of parents towards the influence of peer group and importance of inculcating good habits at this Vulnarable age.
A guest lecture was arranged on the topic positive parenting by Mrs.Padma, Counselor, Dr. AV Baliga Memorial hospital, Doddanagudde, Udupi. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Manjunath Khanti. Master of Ceremony was done by Dr. Thulasi.TV
