Ayur- Digdarshi – 2025, one day State level seminar was organized at SDM College of Ayurveda, Kuthpady, Udupi by the Department of Samhita Siddhanta and Sanskrit on 6th September 2025 for BAMS students. Dr. Mamatha KV, Principal, SDMCA, Udupi has guided the students about the opportunities after BAMS course in her presidential address. Dr. Nagaraj S, Medical Superintendent of SDMCAH, Udupi has highlighted the qualities of the Ayurveda physician in his inaugural speech. Resource Person Dr. Shrinivas Vadeyar, Founder, Pawamana Ayurveda Pharmaceuticals, Vijayapura has elaborated the need of understanding the literatures of Ayurveda for the successful planning of treatment through case based studies. One more resource person Dr. Arun Kumar, Associate Professor, SDMCAH&RC, Udupi has enlightened the opportunities after BAMS in different fields through his innovative session. The importance of the theoretical knowledge has been described by the head of the department Dr. Vidyalakshmi K along with introduction to the department activities in her keynote address. Dr. Arhanth Kumar A, Chief Organizing Secretary of Ayur Digdarshi 2025 delivered the Vote of thanks. Other faculty of the department Sri Subrahmanya Bhat P, Dr. Likhita D.N, Dr. Mahalakshmi MS, Dr. Dhanashri Patil were present on this occasion. Around 150 BAMS students from all around Karnataka were benefitted by the insights of the seminar.
