On 5th Nov. 2018, our College celebrated the National Ayurveda Day. The programme was organised by Dept. of Kayachikitsa and Manasaroga in association with SDM Ayurveda Pharmacy, Udupi and presided by Dr.G.ShrinivasaAcharya, Principal, Dr.Mamatha K.V; Medical Superintendent,Dr.NiranjanRao; Dean-PG &PhD studies, Dr.ShrilathaKamath T; Head of the Dept.ofKayachikitsa&Manasaroga, Dr.NishanthPai;Asst.Prof. the resource person of the session delivered the lecture on the topic ‘Rasayana in Current Practice’. As a part of National Ayurveda Day an Essay competition was held and the best essay prize was secured by Dr.DeekshaD.Shetty of IV year BAMS, on this occasional the prize was handed over to her by the principal. Dr.Aniruddha, Asst. Prof,Dept.ofKayachikitsa&Manasaroga welcomed the dignitaries and the gathering. Dr.ShaileshY.Asst.Professor delivered the vote of thanks. The master of ceremony was done by post graduate scholars,Dr.SumeshPai and Dr.Ashwini R.On behalf of National Ayurveda day a health awareness talk was delivered to the students of St.Mary’s Kannada Medium School,Udupi by Dr.Dhaneshwari H.A.
