Awareness Session (Gunavatta Yatra) on NABH Entry Level Certification and Accreditations for AYUSH To HCO’s / SHCO’s, Its Benefits to Hospitals / Clinics
Quality Council of India, National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health Care Providers and IQAC, Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda Hospital and Research Centre Kuthpady, Udupi, organized an awareness program, Gunavatta Yatra on NABH Entry Level Certification and Accreditations for AYUSH To HCO’s / SHCO’s, Its Benefits to Hospitals / Clinics on 03/11/2025 for AYUSH Practitioners of various clinics & hospitals.
The inauguration ceremony took place with the gracious presence of Mr. Venugopal C, Advisor, NBQP, Dr Swetha Suvarna, NABH Principal Accessor, Dr Mamatha K V, Principal, SDMCAH&RC, Udupi and Dr Nithin Kumar, Professor & Program Coordinator.
Dr Mamatha K V, in her presidential speech highlighted the importance of NABH certification / accreditations for AYUSH clinics and hospitals.
The first session was conducted by Dr Swetha Suvarna, NABH Principal Accessor. She delivered an insightful session on the topic, ‘Essentials of NABH AYUSH accreditation and certification, Implementing NABH standards in your AYUSH practice’. In this session, she emphasized the Guidelines of NABH Entry level certification / accreditation and its benefits to hospitals & clinics.
Mr. Venugopal C, Advisor, NBQP, provided valuable inputs on the topic, Introduction to Gunavatta Yatra and QCI & its board activities.
Dr Sahana Kamath, Assistant Professor briefed the importance of NABH & delivered the welcome address and Dr Nithin Kumar, Professor & Program Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks.
