Annual NSS Camp
The annual NSS Camp organized by SDM Ayurveda College Udupi was inaugurated on the 26th of December at the Aided Higher Primary School, Indiranagar, Udupi. Dr. Sucheta Kumari, the Student Welfare Officer of the college presided over the event. Shri. Manjunath, the Principal of Aided Higher Primary School, Indiranagar, was the chief guest. Inaugurating the camp, elaborated on the importance of a ‘helping hand’ – the role played by NSS volunteers.
The regional NSS Director Dr. Vidyalakshmi K delivered the inaugural address. Other Assistant Directors of the region, Dr. Shrinidhi Dhanya, Dr. Sharatchandra R, Dr. Sandesh Kumar and Dr. Krithi Amey were present. The annual camp takes place for seven days where healthcare, cleanliness, nature studies and cultural studies are dealt with.
