S.D.M College of Ayurveda, Hospital and Research Centre, Udupi celebrated the college day on 2^ndDecember 2025. The chief guest of function was Sri. J. P. Thuminad, Actor & Director, Kannada Film Industry, who spoke about importance of knowledge and education in life & shared his experience about the difficulties he faced in life which lead him to the path of success in life.

Presidential address was given by Dr. Mamatha. K.V, Principal, about the inspiration all have to draw from the life of Sri. J. P. Thuminad & Sri Manjunath Hegde and follow your passion in life for the success & become global leaders.

Dr. Nagaraj S, Medical superintendent, Dr. Prashanth K, Dean Administration, Dr. Shrikanth P deans PG & Ph.D. studies, Dr. Prathviraj Puranik, Dean PG& Ph.D studies, Dr. Ramadevi G, Dean, Extra-curricular Comittee were present on the dias. The program started with invocation by Amrutha Devi, Varuni, Shilpa Bhat BAMS students followed by welcome address by Mr. Shivalingappa, reading the message by Dr. Deeksha Jogi, P.G Representative and college union report presentation by Dr. Prashanth K. Dean Administration for the year 2024-25. This was followed by prize distribution for academics, sports, cultural events and overall championship Dr. Prathviraj Puranik presented the list of proficiency prize winners, Dr. Kochuthresia. Jose, and Dr. Sushma, Asst. Prof. read the list of winners names in sports and cultural competition. Dr.Sahana Shankari announced overall championship of sports, Fine Arts & Library. The program concluded by the vote of thanks by Ms. Dhanyatha N, General secretary, Student Council. Ms Esha and Mr. Praveen compered the program.
