Hon’ble Minister Inaugurates New Departments at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda, Hospital and Research Centre, Kuthpady, Udupi on 10/05/2025.

Mrs. Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Hon’ble Minister for Empowerment of Women and Development, Disabled and Senior Citizens, Government of Karnataka, Udupi District, visited Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwar Ayurveda Hospital, Kuthpady on May 10, 2025, to inaugurate its newly established X-ray and Laboratory Departments.

Following a comprehensive inspection of the facilities at Manjushree and Ratnashree Arogyadhama, including its laboratories and dispensaries, the Hon’ble Minister commended the institution for its continuous medical services provided to the community. Subsequently, she visited the new building of SDM College of Ayurveda, which was inaugurated on January 31, 2025. There, she specifically congratulated the management for providing state-of-the-art facilities for education. The Hon’ble Minister addressed the teaching staff and postgraduate students of the institution, also she appreciated the management for providing quality education and wished the institution for continued growth, prosperity, and excellence in the years to come, as it empowers future generations with knowledge, innovation, and values.

The event was graced by the special presence of Dr. Prasanna N. Rao, Director of SDM Ayurveda Institutions, Dr. Mamatha K.V., Principal of the College, Dr. Nagaraj S., Medical Superintendent of the hospital and Mr. Muralidhar R. Ballal, General Manager, SDM Ayurveda Pharmacy. Dr Mamatha K.V welcome the gathering, Dr Nagaraj S proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Arun Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Roganidana, provided a narration of the program.
