A significant step towards mental health awareness was taken on 16/12/2024 by Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda, Hospital and Research centre, Kuthpady, Udupi by conducting a mega camp on mental health from 16/12/2024 to 21/12/2024.

The women’s volleyball team of SDM College of Ayurveda, Hospital and Research centre Udupi, achieved 2nd place in the RGUHS State-Level Volleyball Tournament held at Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences, Shimoga.Their hard work, teamwork, and dedication shone throughout the tournament. Congratulations to the team and their coach for this proud achievementThe camp was organized by the dept. of PG & Ph.D. studies of Kayachikitsa and Manasaroga. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Veerakumara K incharge of HOD, Senior physician Dr. Nishanth Pai, Hospital Manager Mr. Nagesh C.H., and other esteemed physicians from various departments and PG scholars. The camp aims to address a range of mental health issuses including anxiety, depression, Insomnia, alchohol addiction and other psychiatric disorders.

The intiative offers free registration and counselling and concessions in blood investigations, medicines and in-patient treatments, highlighting colleges commitment to providing accessible and affordable mental health care services.
