SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi witnessed the graduation day – Vishikhanupravesha 2022  on September 30. The event started with procession of graduating doctors along with the chief guests.Dr.Raghuram Bhatta U., President ,Medical Assessment and Rating Board for Indian System of Medicine; NCISM; Delhi was the president of todays event. Dr. Sucheta Kumari; Associate Dean of PG studies call upon the graduating PG students for receiving the certificates which was handed over to them by Dr.Raghuram Bhatta U. &  Dr. S K Joshi. Dr. S K Joshi; Pro-Vice Chancellor; SDM University; Dharwad  delivered the speech on the importance of Ayurveda and the qualities that a medical student should possess. Dr.Raghuram Bhatta U., President ,Medical Assessment and Rating Board for Indian System of Medicine; NCISM; Delhi had given the presidential address. Sir highlighted the importance of sanskrit in Ayurveda for the proper understanding of samhitas and about the qualities of vaidhya in clinical practice. Sir also emphasised the various NCISM upcoming course and about UG curriculum revision. Paramapoojya Dr. D Veerendra Heggade; President SDM Trust & Member of Rajyasabha addressed the gathering in virtual mode. Sir spoke about the importance of adopting Ayurveda and its importance in the current scenario and also blessed the graduating students for their successful future
